Truthfully speaking, Sony stopped supporting the PlayStation portable a long time ago, since the Go was also handled in a bad manner. In this respect, Sony have put far too much effort away from their handheld console. With Vita on the horizon, now is not the time to be pulling audiences to the PSP.
That being said, for those in the States the new PSP entertainment pack is launching on August 30th. Sony have partnered with EA to deliver the PSP3000 with Madden NFL 12 and Need For Speed Shift for a mere $159.99. A steep price for a console that will be outdated and has been largely ignored by developers.
