When two major players in the industry team up, that can only mean good things coming our way very soon. Ubisoft and NVIDIA have just announced that the two companies will closely collaborate in order to bring the PC versions of Splinter Cell Blacklist, Assassin’s Creed 4 and Watch Dogs closer to visual perfection.
These games will all recieve a bunch of NVIDIA-exclusive technologies. All of them have really sophisticated names and it’s quite difficult to understand how they actually work, but that doesn’t make them any less impressive. For example, TXAA antialiasing supposedly makes the graphics so smooth that any kind of Blu-Ray movie would instantly pale in comparison.
Whether those technlogies will make it into the PC version of TheDivision, the mighty impressive title currently in the works, is, unfortunately, currently unknown.
