David Jaffe, the creator of the car combat title was praying the latest PlayStation release wouldn’t be subjected to an online pass. Due to the heavy multiplayer focus, he thus believed that gamers needed as few obstacles to getting online as possible.
Yet it wasn’t his call as to whether the title has an online pass and Sony have decided that it will be required to play online, which means either buying the game new or forking out some money over PlayStation Network.
One day I can only pray that instead of wasting time with online codes, developers make titles that I don’t want to trade in. Surely that would be just as effective.
