Square Enix In Profit Again

Square Enix finished this financial year in profit due to good sales of Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Final Fantasy XIII-2. This increase in sales created a profit of 6 billion yen (£47 million) which easily exceeds the previous years loss of 12 billion yen (£94 million). “The Group’s results were favorable due to increased sales of console games boosted by our major titles, Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Final Fantasy 13-2.” This bodes well for Square, whose strong line up this year includes Hitman Absolution, Sleeping Dogs and the reboot of Tomb Raider, which whilst delayed, will still be released at the end of this financial year.
