Rome 2: Total War — New Multiplayer Video
A new thirteen minute long video for Rome 2: Total War is out and it shows a lot of tactical combat gameplay with an informative narration in the beginning. As always, the game looks amazing, even the simple shadows the units have are unbelievably smooth.
It’s also evident that maps have gotten much bigger. If you remember just how small basic town fortifications were in Shogun 2, the previous game in the franchise, then the difference in size is pretty obvious. Instead of two or three shoddy houses with wooden walls in Shogun 2 there is a very well detailed town. A lot more tactical options are also present: the defenders have to protect more ground in order to win, whereas the attackers can often outflank them and rout the enemy forces.
Rome 2 comes out in a couple of days on Septembet 3rd.
