NIS America Announces Four Upcoming GamesDuring TGS (Tokyo Game Show, for those that don’t know), NIS America announced 4 titles that it’s currently working on. The titles are: Disgaea: Netherworld Unbound for Android (Winter 2011)
- Disgaea: Netherworld Unbound builds upon the original Disgaea’s battle system and storyline, with an engine specially made for Android smartphones. It will be released for free, and players can enhance their gameplay experience by purchasing characters, items, features, and more.
- Neptunia Mk2 is a sequel to the RPG Hyperdimension Neptunia, a game which allows you to take control of a humanoid version of fantasy game consoles, be it a Xbox 360, PS3 or Wii. For Neptunia Mk2, you will once again become a console goddess to protect the land of Gamindustri. Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2 is slated for release in the U.S. and Europe in spring 2012.
- Disgaea 3 is the third game in the Disgaea series, a turn-based strategy RPG series made popular on the PlayStation 2. In Disgaea, character units have a limit to their movement and attack ranges based on level and weapons equipped, similar to other turn-based strategy RPGs. There are other special game systems that let you take advantage of the 3D battle map, many that set the Disgaea series appart from other strategy games.
- Clan of Champions is a multiplayer, action game. Players will choose from 3 different characters: human, elf, or orc, and take on missions, each of which is different in content and length. You can either play by yourself or with other players in co-op mode, and up to 3 players can play simultaneously online. There is also a 3 vs 3 team battle mode where you can fight with and against friends.
