Despite maintaining constant communication through the year, particularly with their frequent Direct videos, Nintendo won’t be hitting the stage at this year’s E3.
Instead they’re opting for a series of smaller events to showcase new titles, rather than large scale presentations. They’ll be a couple of closed events at E3 for distributors and the media, but don’t expect Iwata on stage at either of them.
Competition between Sony and Microsoft is certain to flare up this year, with their forays into the next-generation of gaming. Would Nintendo be able to match that, was it even worth them trying?
