Nintendo Land: Amazon Apologises For Supplier Error

It’s finally arrived, you hastily tear open the packaging and examine your Wii U console. It’s set up, but something’s missing. If this all feels just a little too close to home, then you’re one of the unfortunate souls who didn’t receive their copy of Nintendo Land from Amazon. Amazon have apologised for this “supplier error”, noting that “a small number” of customers were affected. Instead of replacing the missing game, Amazon opted to send download codes to all Premium customers, regardless of whether or not they received the game. “It’s been brought to our attention that a small number of orders for this item may have been delivered without the advertised game, Nintendo Land, due to supplier error, in the event that your order was one of the small number missing the game, please use the following code and instructions below, to download the game.” Considering the consoles limited hard drive space, is this a fair way to rectify the error? Meanwhile more and more download codes for Nintendo Land surface on eBay.
