It has been announced that the next Assassin’s Creed will be released in 2011, or atleast something along the lines of it.
CEO Yves Guillemot said “There will be something around Assassin’s next year. That’s all we can say.” “That is the ultimate goal. We can’t say we’re already there. We want to come out every year with three or four major brands that will deliver a high level of profitability. That’s the goal we have today.” Of course, the initial thought would be Assassin’s Creed III, which no doubt many people are hoping for. Of course, as this news goes out, many fans will be speculating on what the game could be. Alain Martinez said “Maybe after Christmas in January we’ll be able to talk about what kind of product we have.”
What’s strange, however is that Jean-Francois Boivin had insisted Assassin’s Creed was taking a break in 2011 earlier this year.
