The official Mass Effect twitter announced that the Mass Effect 3 demo will be launching on February 14th, for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The demo is broken down into both Singleplayer and Multiplayer sections, downloaded in a single package.
The single player features 2 missions, the first begins on an opening level, during a reaper attack on earth. The second is further into the game as Shepard travels to an alien planet to seek their assistance in the war effort, totaling around 1-2 hours of content.
The multiplayer co-op will feature 2 maps, Noveria and Slum, with the early access beginning day of release (14th), with the Multiplayer being opened up to all players on the 17th. Codes for the multiplayer early access were included in Battlefield 3 and anyone who has activated their online pass will have access to the multiplayer when logging in through the same account.
For PC gamers, yes you will need Origin to play the demo, and for those with the Kinect, voice control will be compatible with the demo, allowing the same inputs that will be in the full version of Mass Effect 3.
