It seems that following attacks on Codemasters and Epic Games, hackers have attacked the Bethesda site and forums over the past weekend, compromising e-mail addresses and passwords once more.
In a post on the Bethesda Blog, the developer detail the intrusion, explaining that no financial data was compromised, but e-mail addresses and passwords may have been obtained during the attack. They advise to change your passwords on all of their sites including the forums and the Brink statistics sites, as well as any other sites where your password was the same as one used on a Bethesda site.
The attacks are likely linked to recent attacks on the Codemasters and Epic Games sites and forums recently. As always, do take their advice and change your passwords. We have no idea what these hackers are intending to do with the compromised information, so it’s better to be safe than sorry. We’ll keep you updated.
