Ghost Recon Future Soldier has been held back until May, to allow the team to add polish to the title. Ubisoft announced today through video, pushing the release date back to the 22nd of May for America and 24th for Europe.
On a brighter note, the video mentioned a beta being launching April, on both Xbox and PlayStation, for those looking to get their hands on Future Soldier. The game will also be released for PC, yet there was no indication of whether it would launch at the same time as it’s console counterparts (You know how Ubisoft are with PC releases…).
For those out of the loop, Future Soldier has a large amount of Kinect input for 360 users, including voice controls and hand movements during weapon customization. To draw your weapon you put your hand behind your back as if drawing a weapon, then firing is achieved by opening and closing you fist. How well these Kinect actions perform in game is to be seen, especially if available in the beta.
