Tim Schafer, an adventure game legend who is famous for working on old school Lucasarts titles like Full Throttle, Day of the Tentacle and Grim Fandango, has put the Double Fine studio to work on a Kickstarter project to make an old school graphic adventure title.
Schafer is working on the project with Ron Gilbert, the man behind Monkey Island. The adventure game dream team asked for donations for the mystery title, to help fund the games development.

The target for development was $400,000 but Double Fine reached this target within 1 day. Any extra donations beyond this point go to increasing the development fund as well as putting more money towards the accompanying documentary. This extra income will mean that the game can be released on multiple platforms and even allowing localisation into other languages.
