Retailer GAME have been tweeting about their trip to see an EA presentation: “This morning we’re at an EA presentation, where we hope to see some pretty cool games! Don’t know what we can say yet but stay tuned!”
Like most politicians at the moment, they made a twitter slip up and after realizing they were not supposed to say it, they deleted it: “Had mentions of a new Medal of Honor [sic] and Need for Speed 13! EA have an exciting year ahead.”
This suggests both titles will be released this year, most likely around Christmas (based on usual titles release). It highlights a yearly release schedule between the Battlefield series and the Medal of Honor titles, and confirms the same yearly schedule for Need for Speed, with different game studios releasing a different NFS title every year, suggesting Criterion, who made Hot Pursuit, will be developing this title. Criterion themselves were looking for staff to work on an open world racing game, so could it be Need For Speed 13?
