Last year, we saw the release of Epic Mickey on the Nintendo Wii, a game that put you in the shoes of Mickey, who accidentally damages a world created by Yen Sid, a world especially made for forgotten characters, and is forced to fix the world with a magic paintbrush. The game performed well, selling over 1 million copies by the start of 2011, and it seems Disney is ready to give it another go.
Although nothing has been revealed, there is definitely something happening with the game. Epic Mickey 2 is currently being shown by Disney via online marketing, including several potential box arts, as well as some of the titles being considered for the game (Epic Mickey 2: Return of the Mad Doctor, Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, Epic Mickey 2: Mystery on Mean Street, and just Epic Mickey 2).
Other details are plans of the game being released on not only the Wii, but the PS3 and 360 too. And that it’ll include a new co-op mode, with one player controlling Mickey while the other controls Oswald. That’s all the details available right now, but we’ll keep you updated.
