Call of Duty Movie Would Taint Brand

If you’re worried about Call of Duty oversaturating the market, then rejoice in the knowledge that it will not be gracing the big screen anytime soon. It was noted in a recent New York Times article that Activision CEO, Bobby Kotick “has turned down several studios’ requests. He says movies based on video games rarely please devoted fans and could taint the brand.” It’s up for debate how tainted the brand has become, but for now the closest you’ll get to a Call of Duty movie is this.
