It was rumored for so many months, and it was only a couple of days ago when rumors sparked once again, but now, 2K Games and Gearbox Software have officially announced that Borderlands 2 is in development.
The first Borderlands was a big success and one of 2009’s surprising hits. Borderlands 2 is expected to be released in the 2013 fisceral year, meaning from anywhere between April 1st 2012 to anytime in 2013. It’s set to include four brand new playable characters, brand new areas of Pandora, new weapons, new skills and new enemies. “New York, NY – August 3, 2011 – 2K Games and Gearbox Software announced today that the sequel to the extravasplosive breakout hit, Borderlands™, is currently in development at world-renowned developer Gearbox Software.
