Update: Just a quick note, Treyarch have officially announced the release of Revolution, coming as suspected to Xbox 360 on January 29th!
Update 2: Revolution will be coming to PlayStation 3 a month later on February 28th.
Duty: Black Ops 2 has been outed, bringing 4 new multiplayer maps and an additional zombie arena to the popular shooter.
The multiplayer maps are called “Hydro, Grind, Downhill and Mirage” with the Zombies map “Die Rise.” You’ll also gain access to the Peacekeeper SMG, whether this is exclusive to the Zombies map or not is still unknown.
Mirage: A town set in the aftermath of a sandstorm with sand dunes scattered in between buildings with one structure directly in the center; perfect for sniping and creeping up… on enemy players. Downhill: A Ski Lodge in the French Alps with both an accessible interior and working Ski Lift for transport up the mountain for the perfect cover (or death trap). Hydro: This large map is perfect for long distance killing and with working flood gates to block paths/take our enemies, could be the best map in the DLC. Skate: This more compact map sees players use ramps and bowls for cover along the Venice, California Boardwalk. Die Rise: A new Zombies map set atop buildings that are literally falling apart.
A leaked image suggests that Revolution will launch on Tuesday 29th January, maintaining its Xbox exclusivity for an unknown period.
