Ban Hammer Returns (Bungie)Are you one of those who didn’t heed Bungie’s warning to avoid earning credits the wrong way (the 60,000 credit in 20 minutes meathod)? Well Bungie will return in the style as Mike Myers from Halloween II… It seems people didn’t listen to Bungie and they are, yet again, going to reset players credit count to 0 for those who have broken the rules. On top of that, Bungie is going to issue a 2 week ban from even earning credits. This may be Bungie’s last Halo game, but they can do that they like, it seems. “If you count yourself among the thousands of players who failed to heed our warnings and insisted upon earning credits the wrong way, you can count on having your credits revoked along with a healthy two week ban from acquiring any more. Starting…now. Once again, you will never be banned for playing too much Halo: Reach. Booster justice is reserved for those who unwisely attempt to operate outside the law. Thank you for your cooperation.
For those who wish to make the case that their Credit Reset was applied in error, please use the link below. We will ensure that no player is caught in our net by mistake. But be warned, if our manual research determines that you did indeed boost challenges, your existing credits ban will be doubled in length.http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=50772715&v iewreplies=true&postRepeater1-p=1” To those who broke the rules, say goodbye to your credits!
