All Day PlayStation Network Maintenance Cancelled

Great news for European gamers with a day off today. Sony have cancelled the full day maintenance they had planned. Despite previous statements, you will have access to both PlayStation Network and online gameplay. Thus far no date has been given for when the maintenance will occur. The official PlayStation statement reads below. PlayStation Network will undergo a significant maintenance period on Thursday, 1 March. Maintenance is expected to start at just after 16:00 GMT and will last for several hours, until approximately 06:00 GMT on Friday, 2 March. Unlike typical maintenance events, consumers who are already signed in to PSN will be signed out, and consumers will be unable to sign in for the duration of the maintenance window. During this time, users won’t be able to access the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home, Account Management or play online. You may also be unable to login to PSN enabled websites, including this one. Please stay tuned to the PlayStationEU Twitter feed for a notice when PSN is fully back online. This maintenance work has been postponed and you will be able to access PlayStation Network as normal. No new date has been set but we will let you know in advance.
