Alan Wake’s American Nightmare Found on Steam Registry

OK so here’s the story. Alan Wake on PC was first discovered back in December 2011 when it too was spotted on Steam’s registry. A few days later, Remedy confirmed that Alan Wake on PC was indeed in development, and PC sales were good. Alan Wake’s American Nightmare for XBLA was released in the same month period as the PC release of Alan Wake. Now it seems that Alan Wake’s American Nightmare has also found it’s way onto Steam’s registry, much like Alan Wake’s PC release. Remedy have said that they will indeed try to get American Nightmare onto the PC, and it looks like they may have succeeded. How long until an official announcement? Could be weeks yet. Take a look for yourself here and here. Unfortunately, looking at the “official” registry has become less possible to do since recent leaks, but “Marlamin” allows you to see inside the very same database. Sales for the XBLA sounded pretty strong, so here’s hoping the PC port adds to those numbers. I’m not saying to “trust” Marlamin, but just keep an eye out for an announcement.
