Alan Wake PC Will Get a Retail Release

In a months time, Alan Wake for Steam will be released. At first, Remedy revealed that the PC version was just going to be a digital download, but have now gone back on that. Teaming up with Nordic Games, their website read: “Nordic Games, part of the Nordic Games Holding AB group, today announced the signing of the publishing deal for the boxed PC version of Remedy’s critically acclaimed Psychological Action Thriller “Alan Wake”. The boxed PC version will include both XBLA DLCs “The Signal” and “The Writer”. Further information on the exact release date will follow in the next days.” The retail game will still be Steam linked. The only difference is that it may be a slightly faster download (depends how long you wait for your copy) and that you can place that nice little box in your collection. So not only will there be a boxed version for those who prefer a hard copy, but we’ll also find out the release date for the PC version real soon. Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, an XBLA title of the franchise, is due for release on 22 February.
